βO my Luve's like a red, red rose, That's newly sprung in June: O my Luve's like the melodie, That's sweetly play'd in tune. As fair art thou, my bonie lass, So deep in luve am I; And I will luve thee still, my dear, Till a' the seas gang dry.ββRobert Burns
Welcome to June yβall!
Summer is here and so is the June Super Stack! Why subscribe to this newsletter? Because I believe that seasonal living is the secret to a happy life. When we put things on the calendar, we elevate our lives with joyful anticipation. Thereβs always something new around the corner.
June, the sixth month of the year, is almost the halfway point of the year, and a good time to reflect on goals for the summer and regroup on whatβs important to you. Summer is hard for me, as Iβve mentioned here and here, so Iβll be doubling down here on the Seasonalist to enjoy this summer, and practice what I preach.
June Random Facts: the flower of the month is the rose, and the birthstone is the pearl. I can get behind both of these.
With that, letβs get excited for June.

π₯ A Salad
I had an amazing salad at Mudbugs in Buda, Texas. The key was a light champagne vinaigrette. My friend next to me (hi Lauren) recommended Girard's Champagne Vinaigrette (fun fact: created in San Francisco in 1939) from our local grocery store. I recreated the salad and will be eating it on repeat this month.
The Seasonalistβs Simple Summer Salad: Romaine, red onions, tomatoes (from my garden), red onions, and Kalamata olives.
To level up the salad, try Champagne Arugula Salad.
