Our house is quieter as well. Our daughter returned to her university and took her dog with her. The ensuing quiet is bittersweet. Fingers crossed she stays in TX after graduation.

Divine Rivals is on my TBR but a little farther down the list. Next up is Onyx Storm and then the last of the Throne of Glass series. Our daughter accidentally revealed something in the book over the holidays so she’s eager for me to finally finish the series. I had a serious case of burn out after completing the tandem read of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn last year.
I'm dabbling in Fantasy this year (Quicksilver is now on my nightstand--the book is huge). I'm digging in today. Oh yes, Onyx Stone. I'm not as into the series as everyone else, but I'll get to it!
I LOVED Come From Away (did you cry?), but I saw it in 2020 (before the pandemic). We have season tickets to the Broadway series, but not all shows (Come From Away was an extra this year and we passed).
Come From Away was awesome. It was kind of surreal to watch it with our 23 year old. She was just a couple months old on 9/11. I describe Come From Away as a perfect example of beauty from ashes.
