My menu trigger item: gochujang aioli and/or pan-fried shallots. I’m instantly in.

This is a topic I love exploring with my friends. I also see "pickled red onion" and get excited. We all should be talking about this more. 🀣 My friend Joan's trigger of excitement is Ceviche. SAID NO ONE EVER. It's what makes us unique.

Oh, pan-friend shallots! And aioli. Good ones.

I want a sweater shaver too! I think it's the only way to extend the life span of the "cheap" sweaters. I'm debating whether they really work (reading all 10,000 reviews carefully).

I just ordered work pants but I'm not reporting back if this one of my purchases until I try them on. I am desperate for the perfect work pant. Obviously the corduroys are good but we're already transitioning to spring/summer here.

Snow boots are a must and it sounds like a thoughtful purchase.

I think the Books are Magic is a worthwhile purchase. I love a graphic T that "means something" and that's on my exception bit--I leave myself open to buying two souvenir-type shirts this year.

Thanks for introducing me to the Rule of Five newsletter, Nina! I have only purchased the snow boots I have been waiting for months and months to go on sale and be available in my size and a tshirt that I bought from Books are Magic as a fundraiser for LA wildfire needs. I definitely didn’t need the T-shirt and will probably alter it somehow to fit my style better, but overall I’m pleased with my restraint on everything else. I do need to find a sweater saver shaver thing bc my cheap sweaters I previously purchased (and shouldn’t have) are in rough shape. Lesson learned - no more Target sweaters!
