100% going to listen to the audiobook and 1% chance of me making any of the recipes ;-) And I too have myself a Jeffrey (a literal and figurative one!) and he learned back in 2002 that telling me what to do would simply not work - ha!
The audiobook is so good--I didn't realize what a globetrotting, glamorous life they've led. I love that you literally have a Jeffrey! Yah, it's best not to tell me what to do. Like ever.
If you need to make brownies for a lot of people--this is the recipe. And I mean a lot.
You chose two of our family favorites. I used to make the brownies every year at Christmas for my grandpa. He'd freeze them so he could eat them well past the holiday. I still make the brownies at Christmas, they are now famous with our daughter and her friends. If she makes the brownies she subs Mexican vanilla to change the flavor profile just a smidge. I have always halved the meatloaf recipe but I think I'll mix the whole batch and freeze for those days when I have no kitchen inspiration.
Hahaha what photos? The captions are on point!!
Adding this book to my to read list for sure!

I'm on the Ina train! So. Many. Brownies. And maybe the best I've ever tasted. I love that you have traditions and memories around them.
