Happy Saturday, yβall.
Welcome to The Fluff Stuff!
Here youβll find a quick seasonal living recap and a weekly reminder to live your best seasonal life. Along with a few Fluffy Things for the weekend.

On tap for the Seasonalist this weekend: spending as much time as possible outside, because the H-O-T weather is coming shortly and will last through September. Blessed.
Now forβ¦
π Seasonal PSA Stuff
Motherβs Day is tomorrow, which is stressful for my family as it comes two weeks after my birthday. I requested some yard weeding and going out to dinner. No gifts (see: birthday; see: consumerism). My mom lives in California so sheβs getting DoorDash something (flowers? food? TBD).
DO NOT BUY YOUR MOTHER THIS.
π Book Stuff
I listened to an oldie (but goodie), βIβve Got Your Numberβ by the great Sophie Kinsella on my commute. I read it way back in 2011 when it was first published, but Iβve decided to go back through the Sophie Kinsella backlog on audio (cuz the humor and banter are too good). βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
πΊ TV Stuff
Iβm not The Seasonalist if Iβm not watching βThe Four Seasonsβ on Netflix. This was wayyyyy more serious than I thought it would beβthere is a scene where Tina Fey must cry and I did laugh (she doesnβt have the acting skills). Push through the first two episodes, and youβll be hooked. Will Forte stands out IMHO (why is he not a YUGE star?).
π Touching My Soul Stuff
From Brianna Wiestβs βThe Pivot Yearβ (I keep this book in the bathroom for a little βleisureβ reading)βfor those looking at summer as a time to start anew. I live for a Summer Bucket List (coming soon to The Seasonalist).
π€£ Laughing Stuff
A new take on the compliment sandwich.
And of course,
π Wrap-Up
May your weekend be fluffy and may you have the COURAGE to do and start great things this summer.
How are you living seasonally?
The ice cream cone is unaesthetic because I made it myselfβat the DINING HALL. I made my son dine with me there after we moved him out. What a thrill.
I DOUBT IT. But I hope yours is lovely with your littles!
Chiming in very late to tell you that soft serve ice cream in college dining halls when I would go to summer swim camps was seriously one of the reasons I was very dedicated to attending college - ALL YOU CAN EAT SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM??? #worthit
Also, Happy belated Mother's Day! I hope your family spoiled you (in a non-consumerism way) at least a little bit :-)
